The Murder Hotel is Book 1 in the Samantha and Daisy series by A J A Gardiner. I thought that this cozy mystery was awesome. Samantha and her best friend, Daisy are wonderful characters to build a series. Aunt Claire is dead and she gave 75% of her hotel to Samantha and 25% to Logan. I thought that the author did an outstanding job of unfolding the story along with all of the problems. I never knew what was going to happen next. I was surprised at the ending and I can't wait to read book 2 in the series.

This book is so much fun. I was laughing out loud when Daisy realized she had lost her lottery ticket and went to find it. The story is captivating with a lot of twists and wonderful characters.

For this third installment in the Samantha and Daisy mysteries, our heroines face a bus stop killer, a petty thief, and murders (?) at a nursing home. I love this series, for many reasons: takes place in Scotland, the characters are funny, independent and balance each other nicely. Samantha is more likable now, I found her to be wishy washy in the first book, but she seems to have found some confidence which is much more enjoyable. This is a cute and fun cozy mystery series. A lighthearted cup of whodunit sprinkled with sarcasm and a dollop of wit.

Gardiner has done it again - another fun, humorous and yet intriguing mystery with the dynamic duo, Sam and Daisy. A kidnapping, a murder, a missing person but all the loose ends tie together to make an exciting case. Daisy is the best - I wish I had a bestie like that, or else, I wish I WAS a bestie like that! Good read, more please!

Loved this book! Action packed, twists and turns, thriller, smart, and interesting characters all in one story. Dawn and her brother, Roger, are the stars of this story and each bring their unique skills and personality to the action. If you like several different things taking place at the same time then you will enjoy this well written book. As the title suggests, cons are being played but our two main characters have a heart and morals they live by. Looking forward to their next adventure.

I have zero interest in optometry, I’ve never worn glasses, but this book has been a great read. I’ve chuckled my way through it at the oddities of patients and life in general. Definitely recommended for a nice easy read.
